For calls to Russia and local numbers you can buy a local SIM card, for example, SIMPATI from the cellular phone operator Telkomsel. There is a special code to make calls outside Indonesia:

The cost of calls to Russia or Ukraine with a local SIM card is much cheaper than from the hotel room or using your original SIM Card at roaming.
Keep money, documents and valuables in the safe in your hotel room. Especially valuable things, it is recommended to keep them at safe deposit box at the Reception/Front Desk.
Always use a sunscreen with a high protection factor and periodically apply the cream if you swim in the pool or ocean.
Do not use water from the tap for drinking or boiled form. To drink or boil we recommended only bottled water, for example, AQUA that you can buy anywhere at the convenience store.
Wash your hands, vegetables and fruit thoroughly.
When go outside the hotel, use insect repellent.
Do not walk on the offerings left on the floor or on the road.
Do not swim in places not intended for swimming.
Do not wear a short and very revealing clothing when visiting temples.
CUSTOMS:
According to Indonesia’s Custom Law, below are items that are prohibited to be brought:
Goods purchased abroad worth more than US$ 250 per person or US$ 1000 per family. In the case of detection, tax will applied.
More than 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 200 grams tobacco. In the case of detection, it will be confiscated.
More than 1 liter of alcoholic beverages. In case of detection, it will be confiscated.
Animals, fish, plants or their products. In case of detection it will be subject to quarantined.
Drugs, psychotropic drugs, firearms and other weapons, ammo, explosives, pornographic materials. In case of detection it will be confiscated and carrier will be arrested and criminally charged.
Cinematograph films, recorded video tapes, discs or other records. In case of detection, it will be confiscated.
Notes in Rupiah or another currency more than 100 million Rupiah.
HEALTH:
To enter Indonesia vaccinations are required. If you are planning a long trip with visits crossings and zones where tourism is practically undeveloped, especially outside of Bali and Java, you can do the following vaccinations: Typhoid, Hepatitis A and B, Tetanus, Polio, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, Diphtheria and also Tuberculosis.
In Russia, some of these vaccinations are optional and are inculcated from childhood. Vaccination against malaria will be needed in some eastern areas of Indonesia.
The most common disease when visiting Indonesia is a stomach disorder. Drink only bottled water and avoid eating unfamiliar food. If you still had diarrhea, refrain from the use of acute and fatty foods, alcohol, coffee, milk and fruit. Drink young coconut water, eat toast, rice, bananas and noodles.
Avoid dehydration, drink water as much as possible.
The sun has a very strong effect on the skin, beware of sunburn and use a sunscreen with a high protection factor.

Indonesian currency are Rupiah. Rate against US Dollar often changes, please check to your travel agent when you book the trip.
